This study aimed to investigate the effects of decision-making and work-life balance on female employee’s productivity in the RMG industry of Bangladesh, with a focus on the mediating role of work motivation. Data were collected from female employees in the RMG industry through a survey questionnaire, and statistical analyses were conducted to test the relationships between the variables. A total of 385 female employees were examined and then empirically tested using Smart PLS for data analysis. The findings of the study revealed that both decision-making and work-life balance positively influenced female employee’s productivity in the RMG industry. Additionally, work motivation was found to mediate the relationship between decision-making, work-life balance, and female employee’s productivity. These results have significant implications for both policymakers and practitioners in the RMG industry. The findings suggest that efforts to improve decision-making opportunities and work-life balance for female workers can lead to increased female employees' productivity and that fostering work motivation can further enhance this process. By prioritizing these factors, stakeholders in the RMG industry can create a more productive and inclusive work environment for female employees.
