Abstract

This study examines the pivotal role of Title IX Coordinators in addressing and mitigating sexual harassment within college campuses, drawing on secondary data sources to provide a comprehensive overview of their responsibilities and challenges. Through a review of existing literature, policy analysis, and case studies, the research highlights the significance of Title IX Coordinators in implementing federal mandates and fostering safer educational environments. The analysis reveals the multifaceted nature of their role, which involves navigating legal complexities, providing support to affected individuals, and promoting awareness and preventive measures. The study underscores the necessity for improved training, resource allocation, and institutional support to enhance the effectiveness of Title IX Coordinators. Ultimately, the findings offer valuable insights into how colleges can better translate policy into practice to create more equitable and secure academic settings.
